FO Frenzy!

Yesterday was pretty eventful. Someone on my floor wrote a story for the Kent State Online Magazine about the Knitting/Crochet Frenzy at Olson hall, so their photographers came to take pictures of us all crafting in the lounge. The story should be up on the website soon, when it's launched I will link it from here.

Also, I finished a pair of booties for my new brother.
I followed Saartje Knit's pattern, which can be found for free here.
I knit them from of that Joanne Sensations yarn, leftover from the baby sweater I knit for him a while ago so they'll match. A very easy knit, I have this urge to make a billion more pairs.

Also, I finished my commissioned hat for Leah. It's the newsboy hat from Stitch and Bitch Nation, knit from crap bernat softee chunky.

The top of the hat.

Lastly, I finished the hat for my grandmother. I made it up as I went along, adding a purled intial "A" as an afterthought. Malabrigo worsted= my new favorite yarn.

(Again, modeled by Nicole. You can sort of see the A near the top.)

The Lambs pride sweater is almost done, so expect another post real soon.
